Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974

The principal workplace health and safety statute. Creates duties on employers, employees, and the self-employed. Provides for criminal offences including failure to ensure safety, contravention of improvement/prohibition notices, and corporate manslaughter (via the Corporate Manslaughter Act 2007).
