Staffordshire Police

Staffordshire Police serves approximately one million people across a county that is transitioning from its industrial heritage in the Potteries and Black Country fringe to a more diverse economic base. The force covers Alton Towers, one of the UK's busiest theme parks, and the National Memorial Arboretum, requiring specialist crowd and event management capabilities. Staffordshire works closely with West Midlands Police on cross-border serious and organised crime.

Area Covered

Staffordshire Police covers the county of Staffordshire and the city of Stoke-on-Trent, including major towns such as Stafford, Burton upon Trent, Cannock, Tamworth, and Lichfield. The force area borders the West Midlands conurbation.
