Humberside Police
Yorkshire and the Humber region. Headquarters: Priory Road, Hull.
- Port policing
- Modern slavery
- Rural crime
Humberside Police covers a geographically distinctive area defined by the Humber Estuary, with significant port facilities at Hull, Immingham, and Grimsby that require specialist policing. The force area encompasses major fishing and logistics industries alongside rural agricultural land. Humberside has developed strong capabilities in port security and modern slavery detection given the volume of freight and passenger movements through the region.
Area Covered
Humberside Police covers the areas either side of the Humber Estuary, including the city of Kingston upon Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, and North East Lincolnshire. The force area spans both sides of the Humber Bridge.
